This year was amazing for the Our Lady of Lourdes Boys Swim Team. Compared to our 2021-2022 roster, which included just five dedicated swimmers, this year's team more than doubled in size, with a total of twelve athletes. This expansion brought new energy and spirit to the team.

Among the standout highlights of the season were the individual accomplishments of several swimmers. Four team members earned the prestigious honor of qualifying for the Sectional Championships: Declan Gaynor, John Bernhart, and Matei Danieluc who all put in months of hard work and training to reach this level of competition.

In addition to those achievements, Nick Napoli had an especially remarkable season. Not only did he qualify for Sectionals, but he also advanced to the State Championships thanks to his outstanding performance in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The team’s success this year reflects more than just individual talent—it demonstrates a culture of commitment and continuous improvement. As the season comes to a close, the Our Lady of Lourdes Boys Swim Team is already looking ahead to the future. With a growing roster and rising levels of performance, the team is excited to build on this year's momentum. The boys swim team hopes for another amazing season next year.

The 2025 boys varsity lacrosse season is coming to an end. The team had a challenging year, but we have grown a lot over the season so far. As of now our record is 3 - 10. Our team consisted of mostly Sophomores and Freshmen. Despite the tough results, every game was a learning opportunity that helped us grow as a unit. We improved our communication, teamwork, and resilience with each match. We look forward to the young team succeeding in the future and developing positive chemistry throughout next season. This quote from Freshman Lucas Wood will sum everything I have said pretty well, “I think this year has been a test year which I wish it wasn't but next year will be a good one once we figure ourselves and team out. We will be very good.” Wood was our top goal scorer this season. Our team has a lot of talent and a lot of potential. The OLL lacrosse team is going to finish the season out strong like always, and get back to work over the summer, and the next few seasons to come.
