Your Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors had another successful football season in 2023. The Warriors made their second consecutive trip to the Section 9 class A championship, while having played the hardest schedule in Section 9, including AA powerhouses like Newburgh and Monroe-Woodbury. A team with five underclassmen starting on their defense, held a high powered Minisink Valley offense to 12 points in the semi-finals to advance to the championship. OLL Football also claimed the 1st annual “Battle for 113” trophy against rival Spackenkill 44-14. Some of your Warriors earned all section and all league honors. With such a young team, leadership was the most important theme this year for the Warriors. Led by 3rd year Head Coach, Coach Sean Keenan and captains, Senior Mike Sabini, Senior Stephen Sume, Senior Drew Cornax, Junior Noey Ledesma and Junior Drew Kozak. The future is bright for your Warriors!
